What will your child do in Children’s House?
In our Children’s House, children ages three to six learn in a mixed-age room. A child may arrange flowers, use sandpaper letters or work with number rods. Guides offer individual and small-group lessons, then give children time to handle the materials and return to work they want to practice. The program includes the kindergarten year.
On a visit, you can watch what a child chooses and how a guide helps. You can ask which parts of the school day suit your child and what you would want to know before enrolling.
How does the five-day preschool week fit your family?
Children’s House is a five-day program. Ask us about the current school calendar, daily hours, tuition and availability for your child. Those details matter when you are comparing a school in Purcellville with a choice nearer home in Leesburg.
Where do Leesburg families visit the school?
Our campus is at 130 E Main St, Purcellville, VA 20132, west of Leesburg. Your trip will depend on where you start and current traffic, so use directions to the Purcellville campus for your own route.
When you book a tour, bring your child if you would like. We will show you the classrooms and playground, introduce you to guides and talk through your child’s fit.
